The sound that we hear at the cinema gives rise to illusions, weaves its way into our very core and transports us through immeasurable distances in time and space. Sound carries the unique quality of engaging all our senses. The cinema provides fertile ground for the magic of storytelling, audio and visual media, and cinemagoers get to experience the rapid technological progress taking place within the world of film.
In cinemas, the visual is normally at the forefront, but the event Immersive Audio offers guests an unusual cinema experience where sound plays a leading role. A select group of local and overseas artists create audio works that will surround and enrich the experience of the guests, bringing them closer to the physical nature of listening. Aided by an almost magical technology, guests are guided through the infinite expanses of sound, where they will enjoy surprising, profound and reverberating encounters.
